Single photoelectron identification with Incom LAPPD 38

نویسندگان

چکیده

Incom Inc. Large Area Picosecond Photodetector (LAPPD) 38 has been tested at Jefferson Lab to identify single-photoelectron signals assess the potential of this type device for future applications in Cherenkov light detection. Single-photoelectron were clearly detected if a tight collimation photons impinging on photocathode was used compared pixelation charge collection signal board.

LAPPD Electronics and Integration Godparent Review Committee Report and Recommendations

A godparent review of the LAPPD electronics and integration group was conducted on Saturday, April 6, 2013. This is the first electronics and integration review to be conducted as part of the ”LAPPD2” effort, which consists of the second three years of the LAPPD project. The committee members thank the group for their presentations, and are pleased to see great progress on the electronics, with...

How definitive is the standard interpretation of Gödel's Incom

1 Standard interpretations of Gödel's " undecidable " proposition, [(Ax)R(x)], argue that, although [~(Ax)R(x)] is PA-provable if [(Ax)R(x)] is PA-provable, we may not conclude from this that [~(Ax)R(x)] is PA-provable. We show that such interpretations are inconsistent with a standard Deduction Theorem of first order theories.

Incom: a Web-based Homework Coaching System for Logic Programming

Programming is a complex process which usually results in a large space of solutions. However, existing software systems which support students in solving programming problems often restrict students to fill in pre-specified solution templates or to follow an ideal solution path. In this paper, we introduce a web-based homework coaching system for Logic Programming (INCOM) which allows students...

Identification of photoelectron energy peaks in Saturn’s inner neutral torus

[1] We present observations from the Cassini Plasma Electron Spectrometer (CAPS/ELS) of characteristic peaks in the electron energy spectrum that are identified in the innermost regions of the Saturnian magnetosphere during low-latitude orbits of the Cassini spacecraft around Saturn. We show how a narrow electron energy peak at about 20 eVand a possible peak at about 42 eV can be extracted from...

Velocity map photoelectron-photoion coincidence imaging on a single detector.

Here we report on a new simplified setup for velocity map photoelectron-photoion coincidence imaging using only a single particle detector. We show that both photoelectrons and photoions can be extracted toward the same micro-channel-plate delay line detector by fast switching of the high voltages on the ion optics. This single detector setup retains essentially all the features of a standard t...
